Breakfast at Blue’s Egg

First things first: for breakfast or brunсh, іt’ѕ worth thе drive wеѕt tо Bluе’ѕ Egg. Gеt thеrе early fоr the fastest seating, оr еnjоу a cup оf соmрlіmеntаrу соffее while you wait. Mеаnwhіlе, ѕсаn thе mеnu, filled wіth рlеntіful foody орtіоnѕ frоm thе creamy роlеntа with kаlе аnd mushrooms tо thе Dublіnеr Benedict, fеаturіng ѕuссulеnt corned bееf, tо оnе of thе bеѕt сrаb cakes in the сіtу served wіth Chаllаh аnd poached еggѕ.

Be warned food this great attracts a lot of people, so be prepared to wait. Alternatively, Blue’s Egg is signed up for the Nowait App which means you can add yourself via your cell to the queue and do other things before heading there and getting served almost immediately!

The range of house-made sausages is fantastic and varies from “the usual” to “the wildly adventurous”. Sausages don’t need to be dull, and at The Vanguard they’re certainly not!

Vegans aren’t forgotten either and their selection sounds lovely too.

Some people love the sausages, but love the appetizers even more! So make sure you get some chili cheese fries, those cheese curds, and baked potato balls. Those potato balls need to be tasted to be believed. 

As if that wasn’t enough they've got a range of beers, whiskeys, and cocktails to suit even the pickiest of guests. And as guests, you’ll have a great time. It can get a little crowded at times – great food, who’d have thought!? The atmosphere is great and you get to watch some vintage TV too.

In summer when the weather is warmer you get to sit outside on their patio, soak up the sun and really enjoy your flavorsome sausage, appetizers, and drink – what’s not to love?
